BC/DC Ideas creates meaningful communications through storytelling, design, fundraising and sound strategy.  Working exclusively with nonprofits, BC/DC Ideas works to help their clients communicate their work thoroughly and support fundraising programs to achieve greater impact. They specialize in corporate communications, marketing, event management and fundraising programs.

Dawns responsibilities as the owner and lead strategist include communications plans, marketing strategy, public relations and event production. 

I asked her what advice she has when it comes to being successful:

"Stay focused in the moment. Being an entrepreneur is incredibly high-highs and low-lows. Many of us are experiencing an extreme low right now. Focus on what you can accomplish in your working hours for the day and make a list of everything you want to do next. Believe in your ability to do hard things. Crank on your creativity. You got this."
